Sal's Universe, (still) Las Vegas, Nevada. Morning after wedding.
She growled at the sunlight that was peeking through the curtains and hitting her face just-so, and groaned, stretching her arms out and swearing vengeance on the blinds for not doing their job and convincing her that it was still dark outside.
Surely it wasn't the morning already? She felt like she'd just gotten to sleep.
And then she remembered what had happened the evening before and sat up straight, examining her left hand. Yes, the new ring was still there. She saw the remains of the mammoth lobster still sitting on the bedside table.
Okay. I didn't dream all of that. She smiled widely and flopped back down into the (very fluffy, very squishy, and so comfortable it felt illegal) pillows, turning to her left side and smiling at the man who was surveying her with a look of amusement.
"Good morning," she said, propping her head up with her hand as she looked down at Kurt. "I woke ye up, didn' I?"

"I'd always fall back on the staple o' Kraft Dinner an' carrots," she muttered to herself, taking out a pot and filling it with water, then lighting the stove without help from the stove itself.

"Yeah, dumb@#$&@," said Vic absently as Wolfen accepted the treat and tasted it. "Yer gonna scare the cub."

Kurt chuckled despite himself, looking down at the little tail that was wrapped around his arm.

She smiled over Wolfen's black curls at Kurt.
