Sal's Universe, (still) Las Vegas, Nevada. Morning after wedding.
She growled at the sunlight that was peeking through the curtains and hitting her face just-so, and groaned, stretching her arms out and swearing vengeance on the blinds for not doing their job and convincing her that it was still dark outside.
Surely it wasn't the morning already? She felt like she'd just gotten to sleep.
And then she remembered what had happened the evening before and sat up straight, examining her left hand. Yes, the new ring was still there. She saw the remains of the mammoth lobster still sitting on the bedside table.
Okay. I didn't dream all of that. She smiled widely and flopped back down into the (very fluffy, very squishy, and so comfortable it felt illegal) pillows, turning to her left side and smiling at the man who was surveying her with a look of amusement.
"Good morning," she said, propping her head up with her hand as she looked down at Kurt. "I woke ye up, didn' I?"

Then Kurt came barrelling out of the bathroom, grabbed his sleeping wife, and bamfed her into the bathroom, where he dumped her gently into a tub of warm water.

She looked down and realized she was in a bathtub. "This's freezing." She concentrated for a few moments, her fingertips steaming under the water, until the entire tub was steaming.
"You should really warn me when you're about to do that," she said, looking up at him with one eye half-closed.

Her toes were wrinkly; it was time for her to get out of the bath.

"So now what?" She blushed. "I mean, after we gets dressed..."

And then she closed it and shrugged.
Sometimes you just can't argue with logic.
"You're right," she muttered, blushing.

"Wolfen," said Kurt softly, v-ing the w. "Und she's ours." There was pain in his voice and a hint of anger.

She glanced up at Kurt with a helpless expression in her eyes. She had no idea how this child could be theirs, but she felt an attachment already; she was determined to raise little Wolfen as best she could.
She'd done it before - she could do it again.

"Gut," she said, eyes shining as she poked the bitten sausage at Sal's mouth.

Wolfen frowned at him and snuggled between her parents, making a little sad sound.
