House's 'verse. Proposing. His Home in New Jersey

House made sure that the kids were in safe hands before he took Logan's hand and gave her a smile. "Don't worry. You'll like this surprise." He knew what her feeling on surprises were but this one wouldn't... yeah, it wasn't anything like when he painted their place at the cafe. He led her through the door and they ended up back in his 'verse and right into his home. "Make yourself at home, Logan. I've got to do something." Leaving her in the living room he disappeared off into his bedroom and right into the closet. Kind of ironic considering how many times he'd dragged her out of the closet. But there was something important there that he needed.

She watches him go, then turns and starts to prowl and sniff, making sure the place is alright.

Of course the place is alright. He rummages a bit more before coming back out to where she was at.

"She's gittin' too big t' jump." Logan sighes and relaxes, then turns toward him and looks up at him with twinkling eyes despite the pain that still showed a bit at the corners of them. She wanted to demand that he spill, but knew he wouldn't till he was darn good and ready.

Exactly. It was always when he was damn good and ready to. He kisses her before going to one knee (even though he wasn't much for stupid tradition) and bringing out a small velvet box opening it up and producing a beautiful ring out of it. "Logan, will you marry me?" Yeah... he doesn't give a damn about tradition but it just seemed right.

And he's managed to stun her to silence. She acutally never expected this. Her mouth opens and closes a couple times, and then she's bawling again as she nods her head.

If anyone ever saw this the Wolverine image would be irrivocably tarnished.

Yes, yes it would be. But who gives a damn about image right now.

He gives her a smile and slips the ring on her finger before rising up and kissing her.
