House's 'verse. Proposing. His Home in New Jersey

House made sure that the kids were in safe hands before he took Logan's hand and gave her a smile. "Don't worry. You'll like this surprise." He knew what her feeling on surprises were but this one wouldn't... yeah, it wasn't anything like when he painted their place at the cafe. He led her through the door and they ended up back in his 'verse and right into his home. "Make yourself at home, Logan. I've got to do something." Leaving her in the living room he disappeared off into his bedroom and right into the closet. Kind of ironic considering how many times he'd dragged her out of the closet. But there was something important there that he needed.

She watches him go, then turns and starts to prowl and sniff, making sure the place is alright.

"That'un stinks." She scowls absently.

There's an impudent push against his hand that makes Logan hiss through her teeth, but then the unborn settles down obediently.

Logan sighes in relief. "Thanks, darlin'. She's yers alright, even if she ain't related."

"Dirty rotton sneaky trick," she grumbles without ire, moving to hug him again.
