House picked Logan up with the intent of taking her downstairs to have breakfast. He shakes his head and hears Jubal go running and tumbling down the stairs. When would that boy learn? Probably never. He opens the door and steps out of it still holding Logan before stopping short. "Great. We ended up here." Yeah, he could be grumbling now. So now there's a grumbly doctor holding Logan instead of the content doctor from before.

"The bitch really needs to calm down." He states with a roll of his eyes and places one hand on Logan's stomach while he turns from James and feeds her some of the food.

She bows her head quickly, then eats carefully, eyes on the door as she instinctively watches for the perceived threat.

James watches the two of them. "Either you've really changed him or he's done that on his own."

House blinks and looks back at James completely thrown by that.

Logan stares at the man herself, then flicks her eyes to Greg. "Oh yeah, y' said ya were a @#$^& at work."

House chuckles. "That's because I normally am."

Logan snorts softly, then bites her lip and closes her eyes for a few minutes, face paling as Bethany dances in sympathy.

House rubs her stomach. "Need anything for the pain?"

"Can't, bub. Dunno how it'd affect Bethany." She creases her forhead and looks up at him, then catches his hand in her own and draws strength from the contact.

"That's why I'm the doctor." House states simply but leaves it at that.
