House picked Logan up with the intent of taking her downstairs to have breakfast. He shakes his head and hears Jubal go running and tumbling down the stairs. When would that boy learn? Probably never. He opens the door and steps out of it still holding Logan before stopping short. "Great. We ended up here." Yeah, he could be grumbling now. So now there's a grumbly doctor holding Logan instead of the content doctor from before.

"Where's here?" Logan wrinkled her nose at the rush of strange smells and sounds and shrank back against him instinctively, her hand clenching on his sleeve.

"Here is the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital." A slight pause. "My work."

"Crud." She looks up at him. "Now what?"

Logan growls softly, still holding onto his sleeve and trying to relax to make the pain ease. "That's yer boss 'n yer friend?"

"Yeah. That was my boss and my friend." He states. "How you holding up?"

"Hurtin'." She squeezes her eyes shut.

"I'm 'is lady," she says quietly, eyeing him warily as Bethany dances under her hand.

James watches her a moment. That was just... weird. "That's unusal for Greg."

"Yeah?" She winces and growls, then shivers slightly and forces herself to focus.

Logan studies him a moment, his scent telling her that she'd offended him. She frowns slightly, then quirks a grin. "Sorry, bub. This showin' up someplace new's got me rattled. I'm Logan."

"So has Greg been with you the whole time?" Yeah, he's curious now.

"The whole time?" She frowns in confusion.

Logan smells Wilson's surprise and quirks an eyebrow, looking up at Greg. Then she flinches as Cuddy's voice echos down the halls.

"The bitch really needs to calm down." He states with a roll of his eyes and places one hand on Logan's stomach while he turns from James and feeds her some of the food.

She bows her head quickly, then eats carefully, eyes on the door as she instinctively watches for the perceived threat.

"Jean don't know if 'er X-gene's active yet, 'n sometimes normal stuff ain't safe fer a mutant baby." She breaths a little more freely, then glances over to see if Wilson's still there and blinks at the man's expression.

House gives a slight nod. "Alright." He looks over at James and smirks.

"X-gene?"

Logan quirks an eyebrow, remembering stories she's heard the mutant members of her family tell and wondering if she's blabbed too much. She growls softly at the thought, her hands closing into fists.

She gasps and looks up at him blearily. "What?"

"Pull in your claws."

"Claws." She frowns in concentration, then winces and blacks out again as they vanish with a *snikt*.

"Ain't what y' said before." She winces as she bites herself and pays closer attention to what she's doing.

"That was before." House states simply.

Logan looks up at him and absently reaches for his hand to sooth Bethany, then turns back to Cuddy as the woman makes a sound in her throat.

"Right. Well, if that's the case." Cuddy starts.

"If that's the case what?" House asks her.

"Then I guess we'll give you some leave until your kid is born." Cuddy states. She eyes the two a moment before walking off shaking her head.
