House picked Logan up with the intent of taking her downstairs to have breakfast. He shakes his head and hears Jubal go running and tumbling down the stairs. When would that boy learn? Probably never. He opens the door and steps out of it still holding Logan before stopping short. "Great. We ended up here." Yeah, he could be grumbling now. So now there's a grumbly doctor holding Logan instead of the content doctor from before.

"Ain't what y' said before." She winces as she bites herself and pays closer attention to what she's doing.

"That was before." House states simply.

She opens her mouth to say something else, only to recieve another forkfull of eggs. Growling slightly, she deals with them, then says, "What changed?"

"Dealing with people that actually give a damn."

She blinks, but eats several more bites of breakfast in a silence broken only by soft growls whenever she hears Cuddy's voice.

"House, we need to talk." Cuddy states firmly.

"Is that so?"

"Yes." She states with a scowl.

"I'm leaving for a while." House states simply.

"What?" Cuddy asks completely taken back.

Logan watches in silence, her good hand on Bethany as the baby snuggles and hides.

"You heard me." House states simply.

"We need you here." Cuddy states simply.

"His girl and kids need him more." Wilson pipes in.

Cuddy goes to say something, blinks and just goes quiet.

Logan feels the woman's eyes fall on her, though she can't quite see that far, and quirks an eyebrow. "What?"

"House has a family?" Cuddy eventually gets out. "Outside of his parents?"

"Could say that." Wilson states.

"Don't pay any attention to her." House states simply.
