Remieverse- in a hotelroom

Rage, brought on by a night of remourseful drinking, coursed through Logan's veins as he snarled, chucking the hotel room's last vase at the wall near his shadow, the woman was always following him, always there, always quiet.

"&*#$ you!" he thundered, approaching her, blood in his eyes. There wasn't even a glimmer of Remie in this woman, not a life-filled, joyus, loud Cajun bone in her body, and he was sick of it.

He raised his clawed fists, mind gonig blank but for the picture this woman couldn't fill, snarling as he finally cornered the only one to duck out during his temper tantrums and imediatly return.

"Keep in mind, Mr. Logan, that you are not the only man in this room with heightened senses," said Dr. McCoy, looking over his shoulder to be sure that the door was closed and the nurse was gone. "I can snuff out a lie as well as you. And your lady's blood showed no trace of heavy metals or other modern toxins, by which I deduce that she's not been in this fair land for long."

Three claws popped out of the hand not keeping Noah tucked in. "Keep in mind, Blue, ya rat her out n' they come after us, yer affairs better be in order. She'll be back home soon enough. "You insult me by your assumptions." Dr. McCoy's golden eyes narrowed as a growl rumbled in his massive chest. "I merely wished you to know that I object to being played for a fool."

"There is no option, if you want her healed and hale. Those bones are delicate and tricky. Also, I've left the wound open till I could be sure of the healing."

"Ain't no option. Her people ain't been around the world in centuries, a common cold from one a' yer idiot patients could kill her," he growled. "Either we leave now or you get on task n' put us in a sterile room."

"I had t' come. Got a woman dependin' on me, n' she don't even know it. This one here refused t' be left behind," he growled. "Couldn't get her ta stay."

Dr. McCoy shook his head with a sigh. "She should be safe here. Tis a private room somewhat away from the others, as I prefer for feral patients or family members. And I myself am immune to virus and other contagions."
