Kurt stepped through the portal and looked around, remembering the small girl who'd first shown him this place and wondering how much time had passed since the last time anyone from his reality had had anything to do with this one.

He turned to look at the women who had accompanied him: Harley Quinn and Deona Miles, though he couldn't see Mrs. Miles yet. Then he turned toward the grave they'd come to see and blinked as he saw a tall man in a white polo shirt and brown slacks standing by one near the end of the plot. "Ah, it hasn't been so long, I guess."

Deona smiles and wipes her eyes again then says, "I was glad to help you...and thank you, Harley."

Harley smiles, and wraps around the woman in a hug

"I'm glad my cat came and landed on your head," she says out loud.

"And I will be there for you as you were there for me, my friend." Harley replied to Deona. "And your cat has been there for me before, she and her orange friend cheered me up when I had been injured."

Deona smiles, "Artemis and Pika Bu do their darndest to cheer up those that need it...and I would be honored," she replies, "It'd be best if my children have a mother that put her demons to rest by the time they're born."

"Children? You are pregnant... twins?" Harley guessed. She slowly walked away from the gravesite, to return to where Kurt was still standing.

Deona walks with Harley, "Yep, twins...three months along now. Hey, sometime, you ought to come over to the Boardwalk Nexus. It's costal, has a complete boardwalk, beaches, outdoor cafes, hotels, a marina...and there, summer reigns eternal."

"Vhat, no snow?" Kurt makes a mock shudder at the thought.
