Joy stretched luxuriously, then adjusted her pale grey shorts, smoothing the front panel that made them look like a mini skirt.

"Are ye comin', me love?" she called, stepping through the bedroom door. Then she froze as she wound up on the night-time street of a human city instead of in the hallway of the castle on the way to breakfast. "Aii! Kurti?"

"So how long hae ye been t'gether?" she asked, absently turning her cheek more fully toward Kurt and then gave him a soft look.

Schalk just cuddled and let Remie do the talking.

"A while now. Not too long, we got married pretty quick," she said, stroking his hair.

"How soon?" he blinked.

"He asked me de second time we saw eachother," she said fondly, earning a shocked look. "N' I accepted. Den we fall in love, n' now we expectin' our firs' soon."

"You decided to marry before you vhere in love?" Kurt gaped slightly. Remie chuckled.

"He saved me," she said softly. "N' I knew he was a good man, n' I was beginin' t' feel for him. After we get t'gether it was obvious it was as it meant t' be."

Then the bay brown woman turned to her husband. "Not like us, eh?"

Kurt blushed and smirked as Remie nodded, turning.

"An' I love you, more n' more, every day," she murmured back, kissing him. Then she looked over. "Took you a long time?" she asked.

Kurt chuckled.

"Zis fraulin saved me," he said softly, smiling.

He chuckled and wrapped and arm around her as Remie smiled.

"So we both marry de 'eroes," she said. "Where do you live now?"

"As does running a small family cafe on a New Orleans boulivard," he chuckled.

"Ah." He kissed her hair, then looked up with a chuckle. "Marie is trying to play waitress again. I hear Adam telling her to get out of the kitchen."

"Marie?" asked Joy, looking.

"Vone of our regulars." He sighed and reluctantly let go of Remie.
