Joy stretched luxuriously, then adjusted her pale grey shorts, smoothing the front panel that made them look like a mini skirt.

"Are ye comin', me love?" she called, stepping through the bedroom door. Then she froze as she wound up on the night-time street of a human city instead of in the hallway of the castle on the way to breakfast. "Aii! Kurti?"

Schalk blinked and gave him a 'haha' look. "I saw that movie."

"Ain't a movie." Joy got to her feet to go look in the kitchen and offer Remie a hand.

"Almos' done," the Cajun woman said, smiling as she put the finishing touches on several large plates of her husband's favorite foods, and a couple smaller plates of Cajun pancakes for her and Kurt.

"D'ye need any help?" the winged woman offered softly.

"Ah, non, but you can grab de cider," she smiled, nodding to the cooling pail with the sparkling cider and glasses by it.

Joy got them, looking at what she could see of the label on the bottle with interest.

"It's good for mornin', n' for mama's," she smiled. "Taste good too."
