Joy stretched luxuriously, then adjusted her pale grey shorts, smoothing the front panel that made them look like a mini skirt.

"Are ye comin', me love?" she called, stepping through the bedroom door. Then she froze as she wound up on the night-time street of a human city instead of in the hallway of the castle on the way to breakfast. "Aii! Kurti?"

Kurt smiled.

"Ah," he said, taking her hand.

"You sure? You welcome t' stay here," Remie smiled.

"Ja." Joy let go Kurt's hand to hug her host and hostess, then took it again. "Starsinger bless ye 'n keep ye till ve meet agin."

"And you," rumbled Schalk, twitching his ears and lowering a wing slightly so that he could touch her shoulder. "Thank you for coming."

"Oui. Any time," Remie said warmly.

Joy was smiling so hard that it actually showed a little on her mouth as she lead her husband toward the door.

"Maur fruiends," she said to him softly as they slipped back into the eternal blue of the WOT. "Ach, I should go visit Vanya soon."

Remie watched them go, then smiled at Schalk.

"Nice people," she stretched, then looked around. "Guess it's time t' clean n' turn in."
