Remieverse - Quiet Night
Remie hummed a soft, merry Cajun tune as she carefully wiped down every glass, tap, and countertop at the bar, cleaning up while the buisness was quite. As usual a few familes were inside, enjoying a relaxing meal, and in the corner a couple men were anxiously watching the football game on a television, sharing nachos and beer and playfully warning eachother occassionally about getting drunk when the owner's wife was around.
Remie smiled to herself as a hand fell to her budding stomach, the smooth, growing lump warm and seeming to emmit its own energy. She smiled fondly, then sighed happily and sat with a virgin margurita to take the weight off her feet for a moment.

Ettiene squeezed his eyes shut, then shook his head in effort to clear it, but only managed nearly knock himself over. -Ugh... God dis... dis don' sound like where I s'posed t' be....-

"He jus' pop outta no where." Tony pulled herself out of her funk and hurried to kneel at the big man's side. "Hey... can you hear me?"
"Easy, I have him," rumbled Schalk. "Let me help you, friend."
Ettiene started at the voice and raised his head to squint foggily at the winged man, then muttered something in Schalk's own language before hanging his head again.

"He'll be ok, petite. We'll get him alright," she said soothingly before going to help her husband.

"Room be spinnin'." Ettiene grimaced. "Where... where dis be?"
Schalk lay him down gently, his ears back in a frown. "He knows my language."
Tony just watched with her hands over her mouth.
