Valley of the Queens: Exploring

Jubee drifted through the sky of the newest world she'd discovered, humming happily as she looked around, then grinned when she recognized the bio signiture of somebody she knew.

Swooping down she landed hard, rolling to a stop right next to the Jubal she'd known to be a hero, and have a wife named Saki. She'd been hoping to find him.

So, as soon as she fixed the many inconvieniances that her rough landing had caused, she go up and hug him.

"Room?" she blinked and looked up, then peeked curiously at the frog. "Room for what?"

"You." His dark eyes met hers a little pleadingly.

She blinked and processed, the looked at him, eyes huge.

"Oh Wolvie, you mean it?" she stared.

"Yup. Tikvah's game, too," he said gruffly as the frog bobbed slightly with affirmation.

She stared, then let out a happy cry and threw her arms about his neck, hugging him.

"I'd love to!" she exclaimed. "Can I be your sidekick? Please? I'm really well equiped for it!"

"Nah. I was thinkin' junior partner." He held her close. "But that don't mean y' kin go out on every case."

"Isn't that another word for sidekick?" she asked tentively. "Aren't you a super hero?"

"I'm a private eye," he said gruffly, feeling a little embarrassed that he wasn't living up to her expectations. "Senior partner, 'n usually stuck with the desk job."

Jubal listened from around the corner, where he was getting to know the local game scores via the little screen he'd found laying on the floor.

"Oh, well that's cool too," she smiled, snuggling in. "I'm mostly computer so I can remember every little thing. And I can connect with computers. I could help you a lot, I bet!"
