Valley of the Queens: Exploring

Jubee drifted through the sky of the newest world she'd discovered, humming happily as she looked around, then grinned when she recognized the bio signiture of somebody she knew.

Swooping down she landed hard, rolling to a stop right next to the Jubal she'd known to be a hero, and have a wife named Saki. She'd been hoping to find him.

So, as soon as she fixed the many inconvieniances that her rough landing had caused, she go up and hug him.

He gently lifted her chin and looked at her, feeling like his world was whole again. But then he frowned and growled as Jubal looked through the door.

"You ready to go, chica?"

Jubilee blinked, then frowned, confused. She'd promised to go with Jubal, and help him deliver stuff, but she'd also promised to stay.

She stared for a moment, then sat down hard. As a fully logical being she'd have never made this mistake, but she still wasn't aware enough to pick one above the other, and she'd quickly fallen into a loop of logic that had her running in circles and shivering.

"Hey, chica?" Jubal came over and knelt by her other side.

"What's wrong?" Patch frowned with concern.

She trembled, then gasped softly before she blacked out, appearing to faint and slump.

"Crumbs... um. Patch, tell her that I want her to stay here if she asks, 'kay?" Jubal bounded to his feet and vanished.

Patch blinked and scowled at the spot where he'd been, then gently picked Jubilee up and went to lay her on the couch and sit beside her.

There was the faintest clanking sound in his arms, something no human'd hear, but then she started and opened her eyes.

She blinked for a moment, then looked at him, obviously shocked.

"You- you're a Wolvie!" she gasped, then realized she was leaning on him.

She sat up slowly, then looked around. "What happened? Where's Jubal?"
