Helena was beginning to get depressed.  She'd tried--several times--to get home, all without success.  She was already missing her teammates--not to mention hoping to God that they weren't going out of their mind with worry about her.  And frankly, this Gotham was too different, too strange, too far ahead of her own for her to ever be comfortable here.

"I just want to go home," she muttered.  "Or to do something useful... Why the heck am I even here?"

"Quite, thank you, Miss." She smiled at her and set the cookie jar, milk pitcher, and a glass on the counter by the stool.

Helena chuckled quietly. "You remind me so much of Alfred."

The compliment brought a slight, pleased blush. "Thank you."

She laughed. "You should have seen how he had to fight sometimes, to keep Dick out of his kitchen. Of course, Dick thought his cooking was better than it actually was..."

Prudence shuddered slightly as she drained chickpeas that she'd cooked and preserved earlier. "Indeed. I'm sorry to say that I finally had to resort to violence to convince him to let things be."

And this gets another laugh from Helena. "Oh, I'd have loved to have seen that."
