Patchverse: New room

Jubilee walked to and fro, staring at her newly refurbished, very pink, very comfortable room.

Her face portrayed how much these objects meant to her, and she couldn't stop exploring her room, holding the Pikachu plushie while she did, happily touching things. She paused when she sensed something tiny nearby, and got down on her hands and knees.

She peeked under the bed, then giggled when she saw a small brown mouse exploring the cavern.

"Hi there," she said, reaching a hand out to it. The mouse stirred, then turned and peered at her, and she grinned.

"Thanks." It was nearly a whisper as he tucked himself against the back of the couch and rubbed his eyes. -Too wet, should dry off,- he thought, but was already sinking into a dream.

Tikvah's hands gently pushed Jubilee toward him, then made the afghan on the floor move a little bit to call her attention to it.

She blinked and nodded, picking it up and pulling it over her and him as she climbed up and snuggled into his side.

He turned onto his side to give her more room, then hugged her close and conked out, his sleep more peaceful than it had been in years.

She smiled and snuggled in, then programmed herself into a deep, restful sleep from which she'd only be woken by Wolvie or Tikvah.

And the tiny green frog winked into sight on the arm by their heads and tucked her little limbs beneath her as she closed her eyes to join them in slumber.
