Josh's Reality: STAR Labs, Gordon Family Compound: Invitations

Lar--who'd been spending much of his time exploring various portions of the multiverse--arrived outside the complex, having teleported into the universe high in orbit.  He wasn't quite sure how one got a message across multiversal lines, but Josh somehow had.  He'd asked Lar to come celebrate, but not specified what.

Still, he was always happy to come see a friend.  His feet touched down on the ground with barely a sound.

"I don't want to break my hands." She chuckled, then laughed out loud as Jaime got him in the ribs with both hands as he leaned across her.

He laughed again as Jamie got him, a smile big and bright on his face.

"Hey, c'mon, you guys, we're on the... yiiii!" Josh squirmed and nearly gave Lar an accidental slug upside the head as Jenny poked him too.

An older man seated next to them chuckled. "Reminds me of my newly-wed days."

Thank goodness for super-reflexes and super-speed! Ready for it, he moved his head just out of the way to avoid Josh's slug.

Married...? Me? What... Right. I forgot what Josh told me about this world.

"Hey noo, that was an interestin' soond." Jaime turned and attacked Josh, causing him to lean back and nearly squish the giggling Jenny.

"That? You think that's interesting?" Lar chuckled, reaching out to tickle Jamie while her attention was on Josh.

She squealed and twisted to tickle him back, the playful light of battle in her eyes.

"Ack, Jenny, cut it ouuuut!" Josh bent sideways to try and get away from his wife's fingers.

Invulnerable or not, Lar can be just as ticklish as the next guy. He laughs from the tickling, squirming to get away.

Slight mayhem reigned in the back seat for several moments, and then Jenny suddenly looked around and rang the bell, then darted away so that Josh hit the floor. "This is our stop!"

"Hey!" said Josh, then remembered himself. "Owwww."

Jaime laughed and stepped on him with one dainty foot, watching Lar for any false moves as the bus came to a stop.

False moves from Lar? Surely you jest. Instead, he offered Josh a hand-up.

"You all right there?"

"I think I bruised something." He groaned pitifully, then shot the girls a mirthful look as they laughed at him.

"Hey, are you getting off or what?" called the driver, shaking her head.

Lar chuckled to himself as he started to head off the bus.

Josh went up to apologize to the driver and give her one of his charming grins.

The girls watched him through the bus windows, then looked up at Lar and tried to flank him, eyes gleaming with laughter.
