Josh's Reality: STAR Labs, Gordon Family Compound: Invitations
Lar--who'd been spending much of his time exploring various portions of the multiverse--arrived outside the complex, having teleported into the universe high in orbit. He wasn't quite sure how one got a message across multiversal lines, but Josh somehow had. He'd asked Lar to come celebrate, but not specified what.
Still, he was always happy to come see a friend. His feet touched down on the ground with barely a sound.

"The boy's right," said an elderly woman. "That fellow was just being cruel to his young lady." Others nodded.
The driver turned back to the grouch. "Off my bus."
"What??? How'm I supposed to get home???"
"You should'a thought of that before you started being a @#$%&$. Take your stuff and get." The driver crooked a thumb over his shoulder. "Now. Or I will call the cops."

"Huh?" The driver stared at him, as did the grouch.
"He's got a lot of stuff to carry," said Josh simply.
The driver scowled and looked at Jaime, who nodded without looking up.

"Please?" Jaime looked up, her already flushed cheeks darkening further as the man saw that she was crying.
He responded as many men do and said hastily, "Sure. He can stay on. Uhhh, you want a kleenex?"
