Josh's Reality: STAR Labs, Gordon Family Compound: Invitations

Lar--who'd been spending much of his time exploring various portions of the multiverse--arrived outside the complex, having teleported into the universe high in orbit.  He wasn't quite sure how one got a message across multiversal lines, but Josh somehow had.  He'd asked Lar to come celebrate, but not specified what.

Still, he was always happy to come see a friend.  His feet touched down on the ground with barely a sound.

Josh grinned cheerfully at one woman who thought it right to send an odd look their way as though laughter were an alien thing, then sighed as the screen went dark. "That's all, folks."

"Ow." Jenny shifted. "My butt's asleep."

Josh blushed.

"We've eaten a lot." He looked thoughtful, then grinned and dropped his voice. "Let's go look at the stars a little and do a patrol. Jaime, do you want to try flying?"

"Aye," she said uncertainly. "I think so."

She patted his arm and smiled at him, then trotted down the stairs. "I maun pay a call tae the washroom 'fore we do aught else."

"Me too!" Jenny hopped seats and followed her.
