Clone City, Valley of the Queens

"This... this is not funny."

With a voice devoid of accent Sal found herself suddenly not at home, returning to her living room after a bathroom break while watching reruns of Avatar: The Last Airbender. If the place had been a nexus or something she was more familiar with she would have been perfectly okay with the entire situation.

Except that this was not a room, not a nexus, and not a cafe. It was a cave. She wasn't a fan of caves. They were gross and earthy and just... well... gross. This cave wasn't drippy or anything, but she still didn't like it. She growled to herself and walked awhile until she found a large French door. Which was weird in and of itself. She wrenched it open and found her feet on green grass.

"Where the hell am I?" She looked around at the enormous valley spread out around her.

This is surreal...

She laughed. "Yes, but what if she's blue? That doesn't look good on me."

"Everything looks good on you." He grinned.

"Is this guy for real?" came from Kal's side of the room.

"Right," Sal said, still laughing. "I still think she's gonna look like you, though. Call it a mother's instinct."

"Ach! Her ears are pointed!" Kurt's attention suddenly snapped back to the screen.

"See, I knows these things."

"That doesn't mean that she'll look like me." He pointed out the feature in question. "Wolfen looks just like you despite her tail and pointed ears."

And Sal pointed at another portion of the screen. "That ain't my nose."

He blinked and looked closer. "How can you tell? It's so small."

Another grin. "Exactly."

Kurt looked at her sideways as Kal snickered and slapped himself on the leg.

She looked right back at him and pointed to her nose. "This's my nose and it's huge. Hers is not. Do the math."

"But she's only a baby," he said bemusedly, then blinked as 'Baby' hit the microphone so hard that she made Fi gasp.

"I was born with my nose. So was my mom."

Sal laughed outright when Celeste asserted herself once again. "See? She agrees."
