"This... this is not funny."

With a voice devoid of accent Sal found herself suddenly not at home, returning to her living room after a bathroom break while watching reruns of Avatar: The Last Airbender. If the place had been a nexus or something she was more familiar with she would have been perfectly okay with the entire situation.

Except that this was not a room, not a nexus, and not a cafe. It was a cave. She wasn't a fan of caves. They were gross and earthy and just... well... gross. This cave wasn't drippy or anything, but she still didn't like it. She growled to herself and walked awhile until she found a large French door. Which was weird in and of itself. She wrenched it open and found her feet on green grass.

"Where the hell am I?" She looked around at the enormous valley spread out around her.

This is surreal...

He closed his eyes and squared his jaw.

She didn't slap him - rather, she gave him a very uncharacteristic (mostly because they were in public) kiss.

"But I figures that's a better thing t' do."

The blue man gave a goofy grin and wrapped his tail around her ankle, then looked around as Kal cleared his throat.

"Want that caf stuff now?" offered the short man, getting off his stool.

Sal's eyes wandered from Kurt's face to Kal's.

"Sure."

Kurt furrowed his forehead quizzically, but lifted her down from the table and gave her his arm as he smiled and told Fi that it had been nice meeting him. Kal preceded them through the teleportal and down the hallway to the former apartment-now-barrack that he lived in. Ignoring the trooper passed out peacefully on the couch, he lead the way down the inner hallway to a large bedroom that was partitioned with fabric curtains into separate smaller units.

As soon as they were inside his he whirled, whipping out a vibroblade and lunging toward Kurt.

Who flipped out a lightsaber and ignited it, his grin wide and laughing.

Sal burst out laughing at the expression on Kal's face.

The older man's eyes were wide and shocked. "Since when did you become a Jedi?"

"Who said anything about being a Jedi?" Kurt laughed and took out the second saber, his golden eyes watching Kal to see what he'd do next.
