Robin looked around the costume vault as she and Huntress appeared in it, then walked over to grab a set of sweats and toss them to the older woman before nodding to a change booth and striding into one herself.

"Hi." Her bright eyes studied Helena's face as she took her seat.

Thomas listened to see where the little boys were, then turned back to their guest. "Worse than a woman being beaten to death with a crowbar? Or a man broken over a madman's knee and then thrown in the river with a cement block tied around his neck?"

"I've heard about worlds where the second Robin was brutally beaten, then blown up by the Joker. Where the Joker shot and crippled Batgirl. Or a future where he did... unspeakable things, to another Robin..."

Helena just shakes her head. Sure, her world's Joker is a killer and a criminal mastermind, but never, ever, as bad as the ones of other worlds.

"Jaycee?" gasped Rae. "He did it to Jaycee instead of Brenda?"

"Did what to Jaycee?" A handsome young man with laughing green eyes and bright red hair paused to look at them questioningly.

"It's a different world," said Thomas gently, reaching over to put his hand on hers comfortingly. "I don't think it will hurt us to hear more."

"Okay, but you have to understand that everything I've heard is pretty second hand. But what I do know is that, at least on some Earths, a second Robin named Jason Todd is murdered by the Joker."

"Jason Todd," murmured the redhead. "Batman and Batgirl.... Huh."
