"The last time I did this," Jeimu grunts as she walks up to the compound gate with bags and boxes in hand, "I was fresh from space and couldn't walk. Now I really should be thinking of the baby, but I'm sure she's tough..."

She looks over her shoulder at Jav and Vic, who are managing the several casserole dishes and tinfoil-covered pans of food she's also brought along rather well.

"Hey!" she calls out. "My hands are full, I can't ring the doorbell!"

Of course she could do it telekinetically, but she's feeling lazy.

A damp tongue slurps across her face, and then the Malamute is back to running around with the kids.

"What the...?" Chromia looks around, trying to keep track of all the small things running around.

"I'm going to sit down now," notes Ironhide.

"Jes' make sure it ain't on anybody." His wife brings the things she's taken from Jeimu toward the table that's been set up near the human sized couch.

"...And then we blew the SOB's aft off!" Epps finishes a story with a flourish from where he and Will Lennox are standing on the larger couch talking with Jazz, who is nursing a cube of warm high grade and cuddling Bee.

Jeimu notices that there's a Christmas tree set up in one corner, so she offloads her gifts there and then beelines for the food table and helps herself to a large bowl of Vic's hash brown casserole and a can of Sprite.

"What's up, guys?" she says loudly, grinning.

A blond woman and a tall black woman turn to grin at her.

"My husband's spreading the bs, the kids are all hyper, Ironhide's loaded... and it ain't even noon yet," says the latter. "I'm Ronnie, and this is Sarah. We're with the two soldiers up on the biggest couch."

"There are three guys up there now." Sarah chuckles as she watches Jav scale Bumblebee's leg and seat himself comfortably on a couch arm with a nod to Lennox and Epps.

She grins and hunkers down to place her bowl on the floor to shake hands. "I'm Jeimu. I'm with the nutbar that just climbed Bumblebee."

Fetching her bowl after the greetings, she looks around. "Speaking of nutbars, where the heck are those two?"

Because in all the hullaballoo she hasn't seen a certain neurotic spaceship and a certain grumpy medic yet.

"Which two?" Sarah winces as Rap stumbles to avoid George and then goes down with a crash and an 'I'm alright!'

"Where are the girls?" Ronnie tenses, but then relaxes as she sees them fussing worriedly over the cobalt blue mech, who is being licked and stood on by George.

"There was this war I was just in..." comes Jav's voice from the couch as he tastes the eggnog that Chromia just gave him.

Jeimu laughs at the general mayhem. "Ratch n' Dev," she says around a mouthful of casserole. "Never known Dev t' be the antisocial type, anyway. 'Sides, I have gifts t' give out."

Pregnant woman is pregnant. Ergo, she's stuffing her face, and far be it for something like manners to keep her from doing so.

"Dev got a little tipsy after she and Ironhide had that drinking contest." Ronnie gets up to go and look down the hallway, then comes back, making room for Jeimu on the couch as she sits again. "I don't know what she and Ratchet are doing."

"Mine!" "No, mine!" comes from the scuffle in the corner that is the twins. Arcee tosses a ball of wrapping paper at them and resumes cuddling Starforge, who has a slightly stunned look in his optics.

Jeimu sits down, wrinkling her nose.

"The more I think about it the more I don't want to know," she says with a shrug.

"Hmm, that smells good." Sarah gets up to help herself to the casserole and several other things on the table, then pauses and looks thoughtfully into the courtyard.

"Why? What can giant robots do that would...."

"Something like that?" Sarah nods to where Ironhide is giving Chromia a thorough kiss before letting her go and walking over to lean on the back of the biggest couch and listen to the war stories.
