Midnight has passed, and a light snow is fluffing down on the castle battlements and piling up in soft drifts in the corners of the courtyard. Voices come distantly from within the castle. All is still otherwise.

And then a figure materializes on the wall. A giant of a man with scaly skin and a horned brow, he turns his head as though listening, his long tail sweeping away the snow.

Then he crouches and waits to be noticed.

Chiyoko blinked, then looked over at Hunter. "How did you find us?" she asked softly, curious and hopeful about the answer.

-I saw the image of this place in your mind.- He offers her his tea.

"Why did you come? It can't be too much like your home," she said, taking it and sipping before offering it back.

-I wanted to see you.- He sips himself, then holds it for a moment before holding it toward her again.

She blushed and took it.

"I'm glad you're here," she said softly.

This makes him smile, though he's not sure what to say to it.

She was also speechless, instead drinking the tea before putting it back in his hands.

He gently peeks at her surface thoughts, his mental touch warm as he tries to find a clue as to what he should do now.

She was enjoying his presence immensely, and still fighting to not snuggle as she sat, trying in vain to think of something relevant to say.

Without thinking Hunter moves his stool closer to hers and puts out an arm.

She blinked and stared, then looked at him and smiled, leaning against him tentively.
