Elisa-garg's reality. Castle Wyvern. Seeking Chiyoko.

Midnight has passed, and a light snow is fluffing down on the castle battlements and piling up in soft drifts in the corners of the courtyard. Voices come distantly from within the castle. All is still otherwise.

And then a figure materializes on the wall. A giant of a man with scaly skin and a horned brow, he turns his head as though listening, his long tail sweeping away the snow.

Then he crouches and waits to be noticed.

"Yes," she said softly, looking up at him with wide eyes.

She blinked, then looked into his eyes, confused and nervous for some reason.

And all she sees is her own reflection.

Does she understand what he's saying?

Barely.

"I do not understand," she said softly.

-You.- His deep mental voice is gentle. -You are like the storm and the sea.-

She blinks, not registering for a moment. Then she gapes at him and blushes, looking down. "I am no element."

-You are as beautiful as they are.- His eyes search hers, and he suddenly hears himself saying, -Come home with me, be my wife. See the ocean every day and share my watches with me.-

Chiyoko stares at him, leaning back as her mind goes blank.

"But..." she blinked again, then looked at him, afraid of detecting amusement or falsehood in his face. "Really?"

He nearly hyperventilates as he realizes what he said, but then just hugs her and says firmly, -Yes.-

She's rigid at first, but then slowly relaxes in his arms.

"Alright," she breathed, looking up at him and turning her face into his neck before flinching. "But I must gain permission from my clan."

-Of course.- He puts a hand to the back of her head and rests his face on her hair, his mind slowly grasping what has just happened and brightening with wonder.

She was thinking quickly about whether or not Goliath would permit this match, then sighed and just snuggled against her husband-to-be, still in mild shock that he thought her beautiful and wanted to marry her.
