Nexus. The random corner where they've met before. Hoping to meet a friend.

Amy's in the quiet little corner of Nexus park where's she's met Sludge twice before. In her hands is a bag which holds several thick sheets of hard gingerbread, which might serve as cookies to someone of the Dinobot's stature. She'd really hoped to meet him again, but now there's snow coming down and it's getting too thick to see through. Her systems are protesting the temperature, and she knows that she should just go home. But she can't shake the feeling that if she does she might miss the mech who's become her best friend.

"I was hoping you'd come." She rubs her eyes, trying to chase away a slight grogginess. "I've got something for you."

"Amy...you know where me Sludge live, why you not come there? It warm there." He holds her close. "What you have?"

She flushes with embarrassment. "I lost my PINpoint in the move and don't have the coordinates anymore."

Then she holds the bag up. "I made you some cookies."

Sludge rumbles and takes them. "What kind?"

"Me get you new one."

"Gingerbread." She opens it a little to show him before letting them go. "Oh, I have one. Just not the code for your reality."

She pauses. "I probably could have found it, but I wasn't sure about just dropping in without an invitation."

Sludge rumbles and puts the bag away for now. "You, Amy always welcome. You silly."

She looks down. "I've learned lately that just dropping in isn't always the best thing to do."

But then she shifts and flies from his hand, up to his head, where she shifts again and holds onto his face as she kisses him on the cheek. "Thanks, Sludge."

Sludge's faceplate turns deep red and he stutters in shyness. "What me do?"

"You're my friend, no matter how silly I get." She hugs him as best she can, her tiny cheek pressed against his large one.

If she were bigger he would nuzzle. Instead he cups her and rumbles. "Amy is a good girl. Glad she Sludge friend."

She blinks tears and hides her face, but no matter how hard she tries she can't make them stop this time. "Oh, I'm sorry."

He blinks and gently strokes his thumb along her back. "Why Amy cry? Me, Sludge hurt you?"
