Logan ducked, then winced and looked up, eyes wide.

"What the-?" he winced, then tried to push the mech's hands away, wanting to go over and see what it was. "Hey, are you alright?"

"Not while I'm operating." Ratchet shakes his head.

"He needs to be close," she said, eyes getting huge as she looked up.

"I need space to work... and everything needs to be sterile when working with organics." He steps into the bay and starts prepping everything, Mac hurrying to help as Bumblebee quietly tiptoes away.

"How far away does he have to be?" Mara asked meekly.

He looks at a counter against the wall, about ten foot away. "Is that too far?"

"I don't know," she said softly, then lead him over.

Logan winced and trembled slightly, then slumped and seemed to pass out. Mara cringed, but checked his pulse and breathing and carefully lay him on the floor, letting his head rest in her lap.

"I think so," she said softly, stroking his hair.

"On it!" He hurries to clean out a shelf under the operating table.

"He'll be ok as long as Jubal pulls through," she said softly, kissing his forehead and smoothing his hair.

"Here, lay him here." Mac finishes the bed on the shelf by fluffing up a pillow and putting it down.

Ratchet sighs. "I'm afraid I can't guarantee that."

Mara looked up, face paling, but gathered her son to her and slowly brought him over, laying him down and kissing his forehead.

-Come on, honey,- she said softly, then bowed her head and began to pray.
