Optimus sat beneath the tree on the overlook and stared down past the feild below it, his optics seeking toward Mission City as his CPU went over the information he'd just been sent.

Elita stirs slightly from where she's sitting next to him leaning against his leg, and he looks down, one hand going around her tenderly as he thinks how much better she's looking with Ratchet's repairs and upgrades.

Speak of the devil....

Ratchet wanders over and lowers himself to the ground with a sigh, then belts Ironhide in the leg as that worthy mech slaps him in the head in passing.

He looks from Jazz to Ratchet and then to Ironhide. "Frenzy's made his first move."

"More sightings?" Ratchet tilts his head and frowns.

"No." The Prime's voice is a heavy rumble. "An outright attack against a human being, and a declaration of war over the local television channel."

"WHAT!?" Jazz gapes at the Prime. "YOUR #$&(*&^ #$&(*&%# ME?!"

Suddenly realizing what he just did Jazz drops his head. "My apologies."

Optimus just shares a data burst of the video clip, which shows angry red text from the 'Emperor of Earth' declaring war on humans.

Jazz sighs and hides his head in his hands. "Has made any demands yet? Or is this xenocide for the sake of it?"

"No demands, just the message and the traffic policeman having his leg run over by a steam roller."

"He's insane," mutters Ratchet, shaking his head. "Those little trash mechs he builds won't have a chance."

"Right now most of them don't realize that the two incidents are related. But we have to find Frenzy and talk to him."

"Talk to him with a gun," mutters Ironhide.

"With the safety on that gun, 'Hide. The glitch is pissed about his kids, he's not thinking straight even for him." Jazz tilts his horns forward. "You have any particular spots you want me and Arcee to start searching at?"

"Angry about his kids?" Ratchet frowns questioningly at Jazz. "Do you mean because you and Bumblebee laughed at him that time?"
