Optimus sat beneath the tree on the overlook and stared down past the feild below it, his optics seeking toward Mission City as his CPU went over the information he'd just been sent.

Elita stirs slightly from where she's sitting next to him leaning against his leg, and he looks down, one hand going around her tenderly as he thinks how much better she's looking with Ratchet's repairs and upgrades.

Speak of the devil....

Ratchet wanders over and lowers himself to the ground with a sigh, then belts Ironhide in the leg as that worthy mech slaps him in the head in passing.

"What?" Jazz blinks and rubs a hand on the back of his neck. "What do you mean? Frenzy rejected us."

Optimus gives the little pink femme an encouraging smile, then indicates that she and Jazz should come and read what he's looking at.

The first screen is a proclamation of victory in the same big red letters. The second is a notice that announces the presence of small robots in the city and declares them to be an experimental project for getting rid of rats. It goes on to offer penalties for damaging said robots, and it seems to come from the people in charge of such things.

Jazz's jaw drops in surprise. "Than son of smelter!"

He cackles and all but glomps Arcee. "We did it! I don't know how but we did."

"Great," she said, frowning. "Alright. Can I go?"

Optimus looks at her with concern, but nods. "Yes, Arcee, you can go."

"So he called it off. I'm glad what I said got through even a little bit."

"Thanks," she mumbled, turning and hurrying out to find her husband.

"Was it a tense situation?" Optimus too watches Arcee go, but turns his attention to Jazz.

"Very. And I don't think she agreed with Frenzy's parenting tactics." He blinks at Optimus. "The kids had sparks boss."
