Nexus. Over on the 'edge of town'. Fallen
Blackout comes online slowly and blinks up at the ceiling/sky, her senses screaming so loudly with pain that she's deaf to anything else. It takes her a moment to remember where she is, but then she recalls picking a fight with the femme Prime and winces.
-Note to self. Don't try to slag things you can't even touch.-
She turns her head with an effort, and is a little surprised to see a few pieces of her shell laying a short distance away from her. Then she notice the puddle that she's laying in and stares at it with morbid fascination.
-I'm slagging bleeding to death.-
She should be upset about that... right? Or someone should be.... She can't remember who, though.
-Tired. That's not good.-
The black femme tries to push herself up, only to discover to her utter shock that one of the bits of her that's laying over there is the arm that she needs to be able to sit up.
She blinks and tries to think of a solution to the problem, but then her head drops back to the beaten and soaked ground.
-Doesn't hurt anymore... not good.-
Her optics shutter.

He came when he knew Blackout was fighting, but by the time he crosses the Nexus and surfaces by his partner, it's over. The chibified scorpion hisses in fury as he smells the fluids around him - and he sees Blackout.
And some more Blackout, right behind him.
He gives an enraged, fearful sound like the battle-cry of a power drill and scuttles over to where most of Blackout is, climbing over the bigger Decepticon and seeking responses through the datalink. Blackout is alive - Blackout will respond?

He steps through anyway, stamping along the buildings to see what the slag kind of place is getting in his way this time. He's not thinking much of it... and then he spots the big black wreck to his right. Hey, isn't that...?

And somewhere else the big Decepticon opens her eyes and looks around with a frown. -This isn't the Allspark.-
-No,- rumbles a deep voice as a human man with bright blue eyes and coffee and cream skin folds his arms to frown at her. -Because you're not dead. Yet.-
-Yet?- She sits up and gives him a dangerous look.
-You heard me. In a few minutes you'll be extinguished, no more, kaput.-
-That's supposed to bother me?- She scowls.
-Probably going to bother Scorponok and the kid.-
Blackout stops cold, her optics widening as she remembers. -Scorponok... I can't leave him again. I promised.-
-Right.- He smirks slightly.
The look she gives him could cut through four inch steel, but he doesn't flinch. -So who the slag are you?-
-This time? Maybe the guy who can keep you from breaking your promise.-
She wants to crush him like the sorry organic bug that he is. But something is telling her that what he's saying is true. -What's the price?-
-No more killing for the flonq of it. No more killing period unless I give word.-
Blackout snarls and nearly lunges at him, but then sits back nearly shaking with rage.

A moment or two later
-You're not dead. Get back in your shell.-
She'd shake her head, but she's not sure she's got one at this moment. -What's that song?-
-Ignore it and get back in your shell.-
And at this moment the resident organic comes to investigate all the excitement, Ro-tor riding on her back under her folded wings.

After all, Blackout is the one against whom Scorponok defines his enemies. You might as well claim that one is zero.

Ro-tor perks up and calls "Hey!" over to his team-mate. He gets a nod as Armorhide looks around before heading over to Blackout's table.
"I've gotta admit," the tank-bot says to her, "you've got some kinda luck, flyspark."

Then she frowns. "What is that other thing? Other than the strangest pet I've seen."

Ro-tor smirks as Movor heads over to the table. "It's a Schattenfeen. Someone bio-engineered it."
Movor peers at Scorponok. "Chibi, huh? That's gotta be fun."
Ro-tor huffs at that.

"I'll need them later," Ro-tor's protesting - less because of a need for forward planning, admittedly, than a disinclination to admit he made a mistake, however small.
