Nexus. Over on the 'edge of town'. Fallen

Blackout comes online slowly and blinks up at the ceiling/sky, her senses screaming so loudly with pain that she's deaf to anything else. It takes her a moment to remember where she is, but then she recalls picking a fight with the femme Prime and winces.

-Note to self. Don't try to slag things you can't even touch.-

She turns her head with an effort, and is a little surprised to see a few pieces of her shell laying a short distance away from her. Then she notice the puddle that she's laying in and stares at it with morbid fascination.

-I'm slagging bleeding to death.-

She should be upset about that... right? Or someone should be.... She can't remember who, though.

-Tired. That's not good.-

The black femme tries to push herself up, only to discover to her utter shock that one of the bits of her that's laying over there is the arm that she needs to be able to sit up.

She blinks and tries to think of a solution to the problem, but then her head drops back to the beaten and soaked ground.

-Doesn't hurt anymore... not good.-

Her optics shutter.

Scorponok doesn't quite understand. To him, doing wrong is simply failure, neither good nor bad in itself, just an attempt that didn't work. But he knows that failure is followed by Megatron being angry...

But Megatron is dead!

Scorponok is silent for a few seconds as he tries to process what Blackout says. His partner often has strange feelings for reasons Scorponok doesn't understand, but that Blackout is like that. Blackout makes more sense than other people, for all his silliness.

But for a long time, they've been limited and long-standing, these jumps between thing and emotion which Scorponok accepts though he could never fathom where they came from to begin with. They hate Starscream because he makes Blackout angry. They seek Megatron because he is to them like Blackout is to Scorponok (though not so important, never so important). They seek other things that are no fun to hunt, but it pleases Blackout when they are destroyed, and Scorponok, in a simple way, humours him. He is used to these things.

This is new, Scorponok senses. This is a new jump between thing and thought. To be sorry is to have done what you did not want to do. For the scorpion-bot, who follows his intentions as surely as water flows downhill, Blackout's guilt is incomprehensible, a cloud in his partner's mind he cannot see how to fight.

He taps his claws in a slow, steady rhythm on the 'copter's shell as he reasons it out. Blackout did not help Megatron - Blackout is Megatron's enemy? Blackout must be upset because their enemy is here, and Blackout is damaged.

Scorponok clicks loudly, tail arching. Blackout should not be afraid. Scorponok can fight.

He hisses in confusion and the pain he's picking up on. Megatron is their enemy! They must fight!

Movor shakes his head, trying to filter through the conversation Liedherz is letting him in on and keep track of Ro-tor at the same time.
