Nexus. Over there somewhere. Quiet time.

Blackout scratches at a nearly healed wield, then blinks at Scorponok where he's passed out cold in a crack in her armor before making a sound of content boredom and looking over at the sand pile that Hormah's vanished into. There's absolutely nothing going on, nothing to destroy anywhere near (or that she feels like destroying, anyway), but the big femme's happy to just sit and watch the nothing happen for now.

The sandpile spouts slightly and then beeps before falling silent, and she cocks an optic at it and snorts before leaning back and looking at the sky.

Blackout hasn't done anything like this in vorns. If the humans who worked with such helicopters could see what she's doing now they'd stare.

"Aoorph!" Hormah slams into the wall, then laughs harder, shaking the zambonis slightly.

And Blackout tries crack the whip....

And Snowcat goes flying, still cackling, fingers still tightly clenched around the other end of the rope which for some reason looks like that little handlebar they have for water skiers. Once again, blame Japan.

The zambonis go scattering all over the place, clinging with their little tires to Hormah's limbs.

The young 'Con gathers them up as best she can while bracing herself against the wild gyrations of her CO, managing to keep herself and them in the hold as Blackout decides that crack the whip is great and tries it another few times.

"Whooooa!" Snowcat's arms are nearly popped out of his sockets a few times but still he hangs on, the slight pain from the situation only making things more fun. Decepticons pride themselves on stamina.

And then Blackout accidentally dumps the kids out and leaves him to sink as she shifts and dives after them.

Eeeek, flailing and sinking zambonis!

"Hey, watchit! Those are mine!" Snowcat waves an arm out but doesn't quite manage to catch them.

Hormah manages to keep her grip on them, her optics wide with dismay as she looks up at the retreating surface. //Tell me ye don't be needin' ta breath, me sons.//

Blackout's got them in the next instant, dumping them on the shore and spitting water out of the intakes she'd been too hasty to close off.

The zambonis, lacking radios that don't relate specifically to each other, mostly burble at her in dismay.

And Snowcat is stil attached to her backside, even if he's hovering over the surface of the water now. "What gives?"

She yoinks the rope loose, then scoops the zambonis up in one hand and shoves them toward him. "Here."

No need to start a skirmish when she just wants to make sure her own minion's alright.

Snowcat sinks in a depressed burbling fashion, then folds his skis up and wades out of the water.

The zambonis flip each other over and go to nuzzle at their da. "That was awesome!"

Hormah submits quietly to being picked up and shaken clear of water, though she'd rather be having more fun.

Assured that hers is alright, Blackout turns to Snowcat. "No damage?"

Then she hears a chitter and looks down, hastily emptying the water out of Scorponok's storage compartment too.

"You got a little infestation there." Snowcat's windshield wipers flick over his chest as he leans in to look at Scorponok's compartment.

The massive femme takes the tiny mech into her hand and closes her fingers around him. "That's Scorponok."

"Kin I go sink some more, boss?" Hormah bounces slightly on her feet. "I likes baths, I does!"

"We wanna sink!" The zambonis go rally around Hormah, rather gleeful to see what their new friend does next.

Snowcat peers at the tiny thing. "No, it ain't. Way too small and the colors are all wrong."

Blackout growls absently and takes a dismissive swat at her minion. "Like I'm too big and a femme? He's been chibified."

"C'mon, me sons. I'll show ye what water 'n wet sand's good fer." Hormah strides toward the water, grinning widely.

"Still doesn't look like Scorponok, though." Snowcat attempts to poke it.

The zambonis' cheers are interrupted when they find themselves getting bogged down in the wet sand. "Need some help here..."

Blackout growls and straightens, moving her groggy symbiont out of poking range. She pauses to look at him and give him a kiss on the head, then tucks him back into the storage compartment and closes it.

Hormah picks them up and sits them on a big rock that's sticking out of the water about where it's waist deep to her. Then she bends to grab a handful of sand and picks up the nearest zamboni to scrub his back for him. It's one of the things she learned from the RiD 'Cons; the enjoyment of the bath and the scrubbing of backs.

Snowcat starts snickering at her treatment of the little thing. "What is he, your boyfriend?"

The scrubbed zamboni makes a soft purring noise and spins his wheels in the air. He likes this.

"Again with the stupid organic terminology." She turns toward the lack and rumbles a laugh despite herself at sight of what Hormah's doing.

Then she looks thoughtful and wades in herself. Hmmm, it's warm.... Not too deep.... She was dusty from the canyon run....

Scorponok is retrieved from the storage compartment as she sinks into the water with a sigh, causing waves to break over the zambonis and slap at Snowcat's legs.

"That a yes or a no? Cause if he is that'd get pretty inconvenient."

The zambonis protest as they're swamped with water, but it does feel rather nice. Snowcat walks out next to Blackout and doesn't notice that he's sunk a foot or so into the sand.

"So howcome ye got a five on yer back, b'y?" Hormah asks the zamboni so marked as she scrubs the sides of the one she's washing. "There more o' ye?"

"He's my symbiont." Blackout shrugs and watches a fish dart past under the surface. "We're part of one another. Where I'm from there are no 'boyfriends'."

"Hmm.... That #%$$#%$# glass ain't comin' off, b'y," mutters Hormah, scrubbing harder.

"Uh huh. Six of us. Numbers are so Da and Da can tell us apart." Five's brothers start mimicking her, one scrubbing the others' back with his wheels.

"Oh, so you guys actually do things the sane way? They don't do that in the Nexus. Got all these femmes dating guys and guys dating human chicks and don't get me started on the humans." Snowcat kicks the sand, clouding up the water around his feet.

She gives up on the glass and sets Five down, then holds out her hand for one of the other two. "Ah. T'others with t'other guy, eh?"

"Dating human chicks...." Blackout rumbles with disgust, then grabs a handful of sand herself and absently scrubs at a spatter of glass on her arm. "Yes, I know about the Nexus. I'll never sit on a couch again."

"Dunno." Zambonishrug. "Maybe. We just went out to play and then Da followed."

"Bad enough the fleshies do it, don't see why we need to follow." Snowcat rubs at his backside in annoyance.

"Ah." Hormah grabs another and starts scrubbing him. "Yer base in t' Nexus too, then?"

Blackout shrugs, then frowns at him. "Turn around."
