Gargoyles 'verse: Maza Apartment: Gwen Visits Franklin

With a gentle whoosh, Guinevere landed gently on the terrace outside the Maza apartment in the other Gargoyle universe.  She seemed to be finding herself here more and more of late, spending time with Franklin.  It wasn't that she was unhappy in the other universe, far from it.  She had her friends, Jubilee especially, but here..  free from the struggles of the other universe, free from the hatred...  it was easier. 

And as accepted as she had become, she could not help but still feel a little less than at ease, even in the best of times.  It was awkward around Angela, and sometimes still painful to watch Goliath. 

Here, she had none of that.

She wrapped gently to see if anyone was home.

"Thank-you, Franklin."

"You're welcome." His hand goes from her back to her face, his knuckles gently grazing her cheek. "Are you hungry?"

Gwen nods. "Yes, actually." She sniffs. "Was I interrupting your dinner?"

"No." He turns his head to return Elisa's grin. "People drop in during dinner all the time. And we make extra for them. Do you like wraps?"

"I do not believe I have had one before... But I am willing to try."

"Pull up a chair." Elisa reaches over to wipe Stevie's face where he's sitting in his little chair on the table, chuckling as the baby tries to eat her fingers.

Gwen nods and does as she's asked. "Hello, Elisa. And... Stevie, if I remember correctly?"
