Gargoyles 'verse: Maza Apartment: Gwen Visits Franklin

With a gentle whoosh, Guinevere landed gently on the terrace outside the Maza apartment in the other Gargoyle universe.  She seemed to be finding herself here more and more of late, spending time with Franklin.  It wasn't that she was unhappy in the other universe, far from it.  She had her friends, Jubilee especially, but here..  free from the struggles of the other universe, free from the hatred...  it was easier. 

And as accepted as she had become, she could not help but still feel a little less than at ease, even in the best of times.  It was awkward around Angela, and sometimes still painful to watch Goliath. 

Here, she had none of that.

She wrapped gently to see if anyone was home.

"I'll help." He gently slips his arms around her, adjusting hers... and before she knows it she's got a fat baby in her arms and is leaning back against Franklin as he assists her in supporting the little guy's weight.

Taking him gently, Gwen looks down into his little face. "Hello there," she says, softly.

His big eyes are intent on her face, but at her words he cracks her a big toothless grin and coos. Franklin takes it for granted that she'll understand what the baby said this time and so doesn't translate.

"He's just like a hatchling, only not so wriggly." Franklin frees one arm to snag the spoon from the bowl next to Elisa's plate and give Stevie a spoonful of pureed wrap filling. The baby frowns with concentration as his little mouth works at swallowing the food.

"Pretty good." He grins widely, though he's intent on feeding Stevie another spoonful of mush. "I wrote my final yesterday."
