Logan stretched and looked up at the sky, then winced as Bethany did the bounce and grabbed Ben.

"What?" He looked up from gnawing on a squirrel bone.

"Gotta pee." She sat him on her hip and headed for the back door, only to stop as soon as she'd gone through it and look around a white hospital corridor, wrinkling her nose at the smell. "Crap."

"Ama's widdow," says Ben absently, as he leans forward and grips his toes. "Befamy's dancing." Then he blinks as Bethany decides to play with the ultrasound wand and taps it.

He gives a slight chuckle. "Yes, she is." He shakes his head. "Going to play with it now huh."

Logan chuckles herself as her unborn daughter taps the wand again, then offers it a snuggle. "Friendly lil' thing."

"Not a fing." Ben frowns unconciously.

"Yes, Bethany's a friendly little girl." House states with a smile.

"Me wants her out so me tan howd her." Ben pokes out his lower lip, eyes still glued to the screen.

Logan's just looking, wondering why she's suddenly feeling like bawling again as she watches that tiny figure move around and feels the movements at the same time.

"Well, you'll have to wait a while before you can hold her, Ben. It's not her time to come out yet."

"Me know." He sighes.

On the screen Bethany gives a leap at the sound of House's voice, then starts searching, the ultrasound wand now forgotten.

Logan quietly starts to cry.

House keeps the wand where its at but also places a hand on Logan's stomach. "Right here, Bethany."
