Nexus; Safe House - Waking Up

A few hours after being rescued by the Minicons RC woke up, wincing at the stiffness in his side, then taking a moment to assess his surroundings while the memory of what had happened slowly came to him again.

After a moment he picked up the odd looking controller that the minicons had left for him, scanning it before taking a few minutes to figure out how the TV worked. When he had it going his optics widened, and he started scanning the channels.

"Weird...."

"Cons... attacked us and...." he stopped as he rolled back onto the couch, catching his breath, trembling slightly. "Bee has the intel... took off... I covered till he got free, but the Cons hit the meteors an'... lots of flashing lights, they were everywhere!"

"You're the same young bot I met by the sign a while back, aren't you?" She looks at him with a slight frown. "The one that was so proud of graduating?"

He looked at her, then looked away, circuits burning with humiliation and regret.

"Yeah," he said softly.

She puts a gentle hand on his brow and says softly, "I probably started out the same way, RC. I just don't remember."

He shut his eyes, trembling.

"Do you pray?" She sighs inwardly, wondering why she's been given a shellshocked kid to comfort when she's not good with dealing with young bots.

"Pray?" he looked over at the bot, looking lost and confused.
