Nexus; Safe House - Waking Up

A few hours after being rescued by the Minicons RC woke up, wincing at the stiffness in his side, then taking a moment to assess his surroundings while the memory of what had happened slowly came to him again.

After a moment he picked up the odd looking controller that the minicons had left for him, scanning it before taking a few minutes to figure out how the TV worked. When he had it going his optics widened, and he started scanning the channels.

"Weird...."

"Ya mind turnin' that down?" calls a female voice from the occupied room. "Some of us are trying to work around here."

He started and dropped the remote, then looked at it in dismay, reaching for it and grunting.

"Slag it, why didn't I get a magn-ARGH!" he cried out as he tumbled off the couch, landing on his bad leg and impulsively curling as the pain coursed through his frame.

"What the...?" The door opens and Arcee steps through, looking surprised and concerned.

RC groaned, but as the pain subsided he looked up blearily. The other him?

"H...huh?"

"What are you doing here?" She frowns at him.

"M-M-Minicons, m-ma'am," he trembled slightly, then pushed himself up with another grunt of pain. "I c-can't get home."

She winces and walks over to help him, being careful not to take too much weight onto herself. "In this shape you probably shouldn't try. What happened?"

Arcee stares. "Don't they even teach you where you come from?"

He frowned. "We... I mean... there's the Allspark... is that what you mean?"

"But nothing about who created the Allspark?"

"The Allspark wasn't created..." he looked confused and upset.

"Oh yes it was," she says crisply but gently.

"B-but who has that kind of power?" he said, distressed. "And where are they now?"

"... I don't slagging know, kid!" She groans and rubs her head.

He flinched, then curled.

"Sorry, ma'am," he said softly.

"All I know is that he's a lot bigger than us," she said, her voice gentling. "Probably has a processor that's light years faster than ours. I get a headache just trying to think about that, let alone how he thinks."

RC grunted, not wanting to talk about him anymore. He just wanted to get home, see if his friend made it out alive, and crawl into his bunk and disappear before anyone else could throw his earlier boasts in his face.

Arcee frowns, then pats him and turns toward the door. "I'll get you some energon."

"E-energon?" he looked startled.

She sighs but doesn't transmit it over the link. //Too old.//

//Oh...// RC struggled to sit up, worried by her tone. //You ok?//

//Fine and dandy,// she says absently as she looks over the menu and ignores the drunken mech who's trying to pick her up.

RC frowned, but let himself rest.

//Bee? You out there, dude?// he sent over a private channel. He frowned at the lack of answer, then sank back against the couch. //Prime is so gonna slag me....//

Arcee's back in a few minutes, frowning at the screen of her cellphone as she absently sits a shopping bag on the couch next to him. "I got a few energon goodies too," she says, intent on the phone. "You young bots seem to like the things."

He gaped at the bag slightly, then paused and kept his hand from reaching out.

"May I...?"
