Blue continues up the stairs and down the hallway they lead to, passing the apartment that was once Arcee's and instead bringing Random and his burden to the small room that holds her own berth. It's got the feel of a barrack room; rather empty and impersonal but for a small framed image of Cybertron on the wall over the berth and opposite the door.

He did not take more time than necessary to look at his surroundings as they made their way, knowing that he might have a chance to take a more leisurely look later and that this area wasn't commonly seen by the everyday visitor to the bar. At it so happens, Random doesn't take a long look around the room until he's settled Arcee on the berth with as much care as he'd picked her up initially.

"Hormah's incoming with a medic," says Blue, so intent on the message that she just received and the relaying of it that she misses her friend's actions.

Random's so intent on Arcee he doens't really catch what Blue just said.

And Blue just stays where she is, wondering why she's afraid to move.

"Random. Blue...." Her optics search the room. "Keg?"
no subject
"Yes, he's downstairs."

Mandelbrot's fractal!"You'd just won a race in the Nexus when a drone hit you with a EMP blast as you were accepting the medal," he says after a moment of hesitation. As he says this, he pulls out said medal and hands it to her. "The blast took everything except your spark offline, but Hormah was able to restart your engine and we--Blue, Keg, and me--brought you back to the bar."

Finally she looks up, her confusion clear. "Why?"

He shutters his optics a moment, taking a deep breath, despite appearing relatively calm.
"Why, what?" he asks patiently when he looks back up. "Why you were shot or why we brought you back? Or . . .?"

"As for why you were shot . . . I'm . . . not sure." He turns to look at Blue. //Did that one 'Con ever come back after Arcee found out?//
