Alpha 'verse. Earth. Chapter 2

First Aid sighed as he checked on Skyfire's vitals, then looked down at the sparklet that he was carrying. The little one was unharmed, though probably traumatized by having her mentor shot as he approached Earth and then going through a very rough landing. Skyfire had damaged himself further in his attempts to keep the little one safe, but he was in no danger of going out, at least.

The CMO2 shook his head and gently touched the baby bot's helm. "Are you hungry, Astra?"

"Aid what kind of damage did Skyfire come in with?" She asked the Medic.

First Aid paused on his way past the door and backstepped to look inside. "Only what you'd expect from running across a Combaticon shuttle while entering Earth atmosphere."

"I see, how long have the Cobaticons been around here, cause if I remember they weren't supposed to come around" Alpha said

She got a gently wry look in response to her question.

"I'm a medic," said First Aid mildly. "I don't keep track of Decepticons unless I need to treat one."

Alpha sighed and shook her helm as she held Astra who was happily cooing and snuggling up to the Prime.

First Aid, meanwhile, suddenly looked toward the sound of someone coming into the front room, and closed the door to Skyfire's room so that none of the new visitors would see Astra. But even with the door closed, it was easy to hear who the newcomers were. They were a Skywarp bragging about blasting Blast Off to bits, a Thundercracker quietly fussing about leaks on the floor, and a Starscream stridently complaining about leaking from his wounds.

Skyfire startled at sound of Starscream's voice, and his concern for his adopted brother made him try to sit up again. Which made him groan with pain and lay down once more.

Astra chirped at the sound of Starscream's voice, which alerted Alpha to his presence, she gently handed Astra back to Skyfire then headed out to see Starscream.

First Aid was scolding softly as he told Starscream and Skywarp to lay down on examining tables, but Skywarp preferred to hold his brother down instead of listening to the medic or to Thundercracker.

"Skywarp go and lay on the other berth, I will be fne." Starscream said

"Not a chance, Screamer." The former Air Commander's purple and grey brother sniggered. "I'm gonna make sure you hold still and take your medicine."
