KOTOR-verse. unknown planet. Mother/daughter bonding?

Alora ducked the swing of a wicked looking halberd, then swept off the droid arm that held it before swirling and deflecting a blaster bolt.

-Well, this has got to be one of more honest receptions we've gotten,- she mused, watching as another bolt went through the edge of her swirling robe. -They didn't even pretend to be glad to see us. Master! Protect her! ...Thank You.-

She clenched her teeth as Tiji turned just in time to meet the droid that had intended to attack her from behind, then whirled with a slight creak of armor to meet her own next opponent.

"Oh, uh," Carth said, staring at them. "Actually, it might be better if you carried them. We can escort you to our ship. You'll have to wait there while we get the other hostages out, though."

"Still it- Alora!" Carth turned.

Atton blinked as Tiji sighed and moaned again.

"Alright. You're alright," he said softly, smiling, then looking up. "Yeah. This pest will be up in a few. So, what's the game plan?"

"Whoa, no walking yet," Atton admonished, picking her up and then Force lifting the babies up and into the girl's lap, gathering the babies close. "Yeah, alright, I've got them," he said.

"Come on," Carth sighed, lifting Alora carefully while Jolee took point. "Let's go."

"Then what?" Carth said, letting her down but not letting go.

Carth frowned.

"Still on board with Laka," he said, nodding to Atton, who gathered the bundle close and took off, dissappearing almost immediatly.
