Alora ducked the swing of a wicked looking halberd, then swept off the droid arm that held it before swirling and deflecting a blaster bolt.

-Well, this has got to be one of more honest receptions we've gotten,- she mused, watching as another bolt went through the edge of her swirling robe. -They didn't even pretend to be glad to see us. Master! Protect her! ...Thank You.-

She clenched her teeth as Tiji turned just in time to meet the droid that had intended to attack her from behind, then whirled with a slight creak of armor to meet her own next opponent.

"The children," the young twi-lek protested. "They can't walk yet, and neither can she," he pointed to the pregnant woman. "Where are your other soldiers? We need help."

"There's one or two more coming. But don't give up yet," Carth said, patting his shoulder. Anybody who can take somebody, do it."

Alora peered into the barrack room that she'd made a passage into, then stepped through and ran over to open the door and peer into the other corridor. A wookie roar made her step back quickly. "Zaalbar! There are children here!"

(Apologies,) Zaalbar rumbled as he lowered the remains of the droid and stepped back, allowing Canderous, Laka, and Atton to enter.

She looked at her friends, then nodded slightly as she turned to Canderous. "Did the others reach the Hawk safely?"

"Everyone's gone and come back," he nodded.

"Jolee and the others have found another area, with a preganant woman among others," Atton said. "They're getting her back. And Tiji's awake. Mission's with her."

"Good. Come with me." She turned toward the hostage room. "Canderous, Atton, I need you to get these people out. Zaalbar, Carth, come with me."

The pregnant woman in this room looked up warily.

"All right," Carth nodded, Zaalbar falling in behind him as Atton benat by the pregnant woman, putting on his most charming face and looking her over.

Alora took a last look around the room, then ducked through the hole and into the inner corridor before racing away as lightly as a ghost.

"Come on," Carth sighed, running after her, the Wookie following.

The double bladed saber darted out without thought, reflecting a blaster bolt that came from a side corridor.

Alora looked toward the source and scowled at the contingent of battle droids a moment before whirling her saber around her in a near forcefield and walking forward to meet the threat.

Mechanical voices cried out in dismay and command, things sparked and fell clattering, blaster bolts ricocheted.

Then there was silence but for a slight panting.

"Honey?" Carth peeked out. "Sweetheart? Are you ok?"

She turned toward him, then jogged back to the main corridor, giving him a peck on the mouth in passing as she headed for the hostage room.

He sighed, shook his head at Zaalbar, and followed.
