Alora ducked the swing of a wicked looking halberd, then swept off the droid arm that held it before swirling and deflecting a blaster bolt.

-Well, this has got to be one of more honest receptions we've gotten,- she mused, watching as another bolt went through the edge of her swirling robe. -They didn't even pretend to be glad to see us. Master! Protect her! ...Thank You.-

She clenched her teeth as Tiji turned just in time to meet the droid that had intended to attack her from behind, then whirled with a slight creak of armor to meet her own next opponent.

"Yeah." Tob peered over the edge, childlike despite his habitual maturity.

She looked up and smiled encouragingly. "Ready to sail the stars?"

"We have to go back to our dad." He sighed, wishing that his dad could maybe join Alora's crew or something.

"We'll find him soon, alright?" she said, looking up. "You can stay with us until we find him."

"Alright." He gave her a million dollar grin, then looked around as his little brother whimpered and vanished into the bed.

Alora groaned and struggled to wake up again.

"Easy," Tiji said, then looked up as Carth came in.

"Let me see her," he said, going and sitting on the bed, pulling her into his lap. Tiji nodded and stood.

"What's wrong?" she touched the blankets covering the child.

"Nothing. He just likes being hugged when he sleeps," said Tob softly, lifting his head and looking over his shoulder.

"Alright. I'll leave you be," she said, looking back at her dad as he gently rocked her mother.
