K'vk'tun: Hammocks
Ramada stared into the cup of brown beverage that was most definitely not coffee, and then looked over at her small friend, wondering how best to delicately phrase that the stuff tasted like crap and wasn't there anything else to drink.
She could find no euphemism that was guaranteed not to set Mykayla off (truth be told she was a bit grumpy, and Ramada couldn't blame her given the condition she was in), and so instead turned to her small friend and said:
"Do they put sugar in this?"

Ramada forced back another mouthful and hid her face in her mug so Mykayla couldn't see the disgusted shudder that passed over her as she swallowed.
It was kind of like when Jai drinks beer. She figured that the sooner Mykayla popped out this new kid, the better."Well," she said, keeping herself from shuddering as she swallowed the last bit, "I'm done. Would you like more?"
I don't want more. I think I'm going to go for water next time.

Her small friend was floating there when she reached it, eyes closed as Scrat stroked her wet hair.
The quiet clone looked up with a smile. "Will you support her while I see how things are going?"

"I'm glad," added Scrat. He had little patience with the overly curious fish.

"Tell me where to go and I'll go there," she said. She didn't want to impede or otherwise make the couple uncomfortable.

The next contraction had the water of the tide pool slightly discoloured, and Scrat's eyes went wide with wonder. "There's his head."

He grabbed a scanner and ran it over her, his face creased with concern.

Isaiah's little arms went out with surprise, and his eyes widened before his face crinkled to cry.
