"Yes, sir," Tiji said, carefully hiding the yawn, and listening to the Republic Admiral's final orders, his smaller, blue and flickering face oblivious to her boredome as he finished outlining her mission.

The young Jedi nodded and saluted him, then breathed a sigh of relief as he finally finished and left.

"I'm impressed. You managed to look much more attentive this time," her father smiled, approaching. She smiled.

"Come on dad, it's just a message delivery," she rolled her eyes.

"I still wish you'd take somebody with you. Zaalbar or Mission or-"

"The only one who's free is Atton," she said sweetly. Atton, who was currently shuffly Pazaak cards, looked up helpfully.

"Well he'd be useless," Carth sighed. "Alright. you ready to go?"

"Yes, dad," she smiled.

He was silent as he listened to her relate them to Alora, but nodded to her question, though his face was tight with strain.

Alora patted his arm gently, then walked over and herded Carth and Atton off the shuttle.

"Please... I'm sorry about what happened... just, don't cut yourself off from me," Tiji looked up at him, voice trembling as she touched his cheek. "We can handle this, easy, Fron, I promise. It'll just... take some getting used to."

"Who am I?" he whispered, his voice shaking. "Who am I really to you, if I'm not your brother?"

"I..." she looked away. "I'd hoped... I mean, boyfriend. I guess," she said, pulling away and going back to the pilot's seat.

"Really?" His eyes widened, brightening slightly. "You mean that's not... I thought I was being some kind of pervert!"

"Yeah," she said, blinking, then smiling. "I mean... well... when I met you I was pretty messed up. You took care of me and we got this... bond of some kind. Then dad challenged you and that kind of made it official."

She leaned over, taking his hand. "I'm really glad you're here," she said softly, smiling at him.

He blinked, then leaned down to kiss her hair gently. -I love you.-

"Let me pilot. I do it better." The words slipped out without thought.

She smiled at the kiss, but paused. Then she shrugged and got up. "Can't do much, anyway. It's on autopilot, headed straight for the landing pad."

His fingers flew over the controls as he slipped into the seat. "This'll put us down with a thump. Did Atton program it? There we go."

He turned to her with a triumphant grin as the shuttle launched once more.

"Give Atton a break. He's still pretty good at what he does," she giggled, sliding into the co-pilot's seat.

"He's an old fogy," said Fron with cheerful impudence.

"And you're a young foggy," she smirked.

"Yeah, but I'm good looking." He made the shuttle do a barrel roll, expecting to hear Carth yelling at him over the com.

"HEY!" Tiji winced as her father's face showed up, angry. "Listen, mister, I don't care who you are, those supplies are fragile!"

"Yes dad, we know. Won't happen again, I promise," Tiji said quickly. Then she shot him a grin. -You know this is a big mission for me. And the Republic's monitoring it.-
