KOTORverse: Bored and Anxious
"Yes, sir," Tiji said, carefully hiding the yawn, and listening to the Republic Admiral's final orders, his smaller, blue and flickering face oblivious to her boredome as he finished outlining her mission.
The young Jedi nodded and saluted him, then breathed a sigh of relief as he finally finished and left.
"I'm impressed. You managed to look much more attentive this time," her father smiled, approaching. She smiled.
"Come on dad, it's just a message delivery," she rolled her eyes.
"I still wish you'd take somebody with you. Zaalbar or Mission or-"
"The only one who's free is Atton," she said sweetly. Atton, who was currently shuffly Pazaak cards, looked up helpfully.
"Well he'd be useless," Carth sighed. "Alright. you ready to go?"
"Yes, dad," she smiled.

"This is it," she sighed. "I'd better go in alone, they hate outsiders, and groups of outsiders even more. Can you guard the supplies?'

A couple hours later she reappeared, looking hassled and like she was nearing the end of her usually well thought of patience. Behind her a few short, green beings with bumpy heads, large eyes, and gaping, toothless mouths followed behind her, oozing the same level of annoyance.
"Here," she said briskly, pulling aside the cover off the speeder. Then she went and sat by Frank, sighing as she watched the beings quickly begin to unload it.

The Glow that Tiji could see reached out from him, touching her and leaving a feeling of inexplicable peace and comfort before going on toward the natives.
