Bloody Wagner's verse; Xavier's institute; Waking Love

Kurt slowly rocked his daughter. Eyes closed he sang a soft German lullaby to her, tears splashing down his cheeks again as he waited by his wife's bedside. She wasn't awake yet.

He rocked his child, his beautiful baby girl. She was a treasure in his arms, and every time he looked at her he became more resolved. He was going to get her away from this planet, as soon as possible. Once Joy woke up he'd take them back to the castle, to their world, and he'd keep them there. Safe.

He sighed. If only she'd wake up....

"This'll do fer noo." She grabbed one of the big shrimp and examined it, then chuckled and twitched her ears as a tiny sound came from her new daughter. "Ask 'er herself."

Kurt beamed and looked at her. "Gut morning, liebling. How are you?" he asked, stroking her cheek gingerly.

Juwel's big black eyes sparkled up at him as her ears perked and she cooed softly. Vader was her best friend and she loved talking with him.

Kurt stared at her for a moment, grinning, then felt his hapiness eb. "Haff... haff you remembered nuzzing of vat made you sick?" he asked softly.
