Kurt slowly rocked his daughter. Eyes closed he sang a soft German lullaby to her, tears splashing down his cheeks again as he waited by his wife's bedside. She wasn't awake yet.

He rocked his child, his beautiful baby girl. She was a treasure in his arms, and every time he looked at her he became more resolved. He was going to get her away from this planet, as soon as possible. Once Joy woke up he'd take them back to the castle, to their world, and he'd keep them there. Safe.

He sighed. If only she'd wake up....

"Aye." She bit the head off the prawn, then offered him a bite of the sweet, meaty tail. "Still veak, but it doesnae hurt so now."

"Zat's vonderful," he smiled, then kissed her forehead before taking it.

"Aye." Her eyes went slightly troubled as she finished that prawn and picked up another.

"Vat's wrong?" he asked, frowning.

"Vas there anythin' else I did vhile I vas ill? Anyvone else I hurt?" She looked up at him questioningly.

"Er... nien. It has made you famous. Many are praising you as ze Lord's healer," he smiled softly. "Och. You haff started a new trend amoung ze young vons... vings are ze new mini-skirts, it seems."
