Bloody Wagner's verse; Xavier's institute; Waking Love

Kurt slowly rocked his daughter. Eyes closed he sang a soft German lullaby to her, tears splashing down his cheeks again as he waited by his wife's bedside. She wasn't awake yet.

He rocked his child, his beautiful baby girl. She was a treasure in his arms, and every time he looked at her he became more resolved. He was going to get her away from this planet, as soon as possible. Once Joy woke up he'd take them back to the castle, to their world, and he'd keep them there. Safe.

He sighed. If only she'd wake up....

She wrinkled her nose at him, then pushed away the bowl, though it was still a little over half full.

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Rest, mien liebe. Soon you vill be strong enough to get about. Und in ze morning I haff made arrangements with ze professor to move our family into a room upstairs," he said gently.

He smiled, not adding the reason why the room was open now for them, not wanting to make her sad. Instead he teleported off to store the food, then re-entered with another soft blanket, which he spread over her.

"Vould you like me to stay?"

"Yes dear," he said goofily, moving in to lay by and then snuggle against her.
