Maggie appears in the other universe and looks around apprehensively.  She desperately needs someone to talk to and, frankly, there's no one in her own universe that she feels comfortable talking to right now.  Not Derek, no one in the Labyrinth, and most especially not Elisa.

Though the person she's most looking for might not be the best source to vent her problems too...  At least it's one step removed from home, a little further away from it all...

The Maggie who appears in the courtyard is one troubled cat.

Lucy thinks for a moment, then looks up. "Do you want to go Christmas shopping?"

Seems unrelated, but it's not, actually.

"Out...? With people?" For a moment, Maggie looks at Lucy as though she has two heads. Then she remembers. "I think I'd like that."

"Just let me grab a bite to eat and let Hudson know he needs to watch Jane." The tiny mutate smiles. "And get you something to wear... I think Angela has a coat that will fit."

"All right," Maggie replies.

Lucy vanishes from her chair, leaving the silence to fall for a moment.

And Maggie will wait patiently for her return.

She walks back in a few moments later, a tortilla full of eggs and peppers in one hand and a pretty black coat with sheepskin edging on her other arm. "Are you hungry?"
